Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. 0057  'Fingerbib' - Alepx Twin, (fade w/ music), YL (indistinct), 0105 clear ID, more unfamiliar music, 0108 'Clock' - Plaid

Signal reads S7, however it is fading frequently enough that listening is challenging.

Greetings from Jacksonville NC. It's a bit rough tonight all around for SWL with the noise level. I have you at a 322. I hear music, but too noisy to make out a song.
