Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

Listening via the SDR in Shrewsbury, Vermont, which is receiving an S7 to S9 signal and fair to good audio overall ...

0052 UTC: "I'm Afraid of Americans" by David Bowie & Trent Reznor.
* * * * *
0119 UTC: "Voice of America" by Little Steven.
0121 UTC: "Pink Houses" by John Mellencamp.
0126 UTC: The usual male host with ID, saying this is possibly the last song, and wishing "happy Fourth" into "Young Americans" by David Bowie.
0131 UTC: WTF Radio Worldwide jingle into "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo" by Lobo.
0134 UTC: "Dancing in the Street" by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas.
0136 UTC: Host broke in to say these extra songs are "U.S.A.-related" into "Philadelphia Freedom" by Elton John.
0142 UTC: Fireworks sounds into "Kids in America" by Kim Wilde.
0145 UTC: "State of Independence" by Andrea Corr.
0151 UTC: "To Anacreon in Heaven" by John Townley (the folk song that "The Star-Spangled Banner" borrowed its tune from).
0153 UTC: Host: "Oh, sorry, that was an old English drinking song." He then added "here it is" into an instrumental version of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
0154 UTC: WTF Radio Worldwide jingle into Onion News Network "report" about a local dad stockpiling fireworks.
0157 UTC: "Captain Kenneth" wishing everyone a safe holiday, adding that the first part of the show was from 2022 and the second half has been live. He then gave out HFU shout-outs.
0202 UTC: Closing interval signal music, then the host breaking in once or twice.

Thanks for the music tonight!
