Radio 412 6945 LSB 0047 UTC 6 JUL 2026
« on: July 06, 2026, 0047 UTC »
0047: music "The Name Game" - Shirley Ellis
45333
0049: music/OM VO, "with Beatles", "here we go", music I can't ID
0050: FSK/CW/RTTY/whatever QRN begins on 6943, notch filter effective; "Da Doo Ron Ron" - The Crystals
0054: OM w/ID, think he said "Radio 412"; "I'm A Believer" - Monkees
0057: clear ID, telephone call
- some kind of distortion makes it really hard to understand anything, it's like there is way too much treble
0102: "Hey Good Looking" - Hank Williams Sr. with pauses
0106: OM: "we hope to get some more people listening", ID, then silent/EOT

Thanks for the show and the shoutouts!

SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?
