SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. Good signal in western New Yoek, SINPO 45444

0252z    Tuned into some shredding guitar, didn't get a chance to Shazam it, and then "W D E F". And gone. So I was late to the party and then it was gone!  Nobody's fault but mine.

Drake R8B, 700 ft long wire aimed west

QSLs appreciated and meticulously archived at jim(dot)renfrew(at)gmail(dot)com
