VFO Radio 6945 USB 0013 UTC 15 AUG 2026
« on: August 15, 2026, 0013 UTC »
0013: music, sounds like "crooner" or big band mx, now clarinet mx; "Green Eyes" - Jimmy Dorsey and His Orch. w/Helen O'Connell & Bob Eberly
0015: suddenly a good bit stronger signal
0016: more big band orchestra mx w/clarinet & piano, "Make Believe Island" - Jan Savitt
35343 to 45444, good SNR and surprisingly low noise
0021: several people talking, sounds like a radio drama and commercials

SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?
