UNID 6925 USB 2255 UTC 2 SEP 2026
« on: September 02, 2026, 2255 UTC »
2255: music, very weak, deep fades, 2522[1-2]
- much of the time, I can't make out any signal whatsoever, but ...
2308: suddenly got louder for a few seconds, then died down again; nothing visible in waterfall
2311: OM talking
2313: OM might have said "this is a propagation test" several times
2315: a number of different tones were heard, each about 5 seconds

... Thanks for the show!

QSL to [email protected] would be greatly appreciated!
SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

2311: Sounds like a male voice repeating the same words. Very weak just above the noise.
2314: "This is a propagation test" repeated several times.

Some traces of audio here during that period, tough copy between a weak signal and lots of static from storms.

2302 Instrumental music
2311 OM speaking? There's peskies on 6925 LSB, so I am not 100% it isn't bleedthru from them
2316 Tones, sounds like DTMF / phone dialing tones?
