FWRéd from an e-mail QSO with Boomer:

¨Hey, oddities on the air, I was listening to 720 AM from Chicago, after midnight on Wed morning I think. The show's host was Rollye, she had a caller talking about AM/FM DX. They were talking about FM skip from other cities, then AM, and then the guy brought up AM stereo! He actually had a stereo radio back then! Rollye knew all about that stuff too. I thought I was recording, but didn't get it, I wonder if a playback of her show could be on 720's website? It's something you never hear.¨

Well, that´s pretty cool! Anyone else remember Rollye James, when she was a fill-in guest-host for C2C AM like over 20 years ago? The podcast archive, if found, could be dated 9/3/2026. Anyway, THANKS Boomer!!!!

The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!! You've just bought a deficit!". The other, was on a work environment, " No matter where you go, it's going to be f***'ed -up!". No truer words have been spoken.

I rememeber being in a car with a radio that had a button to enable the stereo pilot on an AM station..

It sounded quite good!
