Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

0101 S8/9 with fair audio.
All reports given are direct from my station in NYC.
Main toys are a Flex SDR, Icom 756 Pro II and other assorted odds & ends. They may be older, but work very well for me.
100 ft random wire (all my city lot allows)

Seeing the carrier at 6933.7 right now. Audio is barely detectable above the S9 noise floor here, but I'm operating with a sub-optimal antenna (relatively short random-length end-fed wire) as I *still* haven't got my dipole back up following a devastating hailstorm back in July 2025.
