27.515 MHz LSB - The Knight Patrol! Caribbean Activity 2306 UTC 10 Sept 2026

[R4002]

Kilo Papa calling frequency 27.515 MHz LSB.  Heavy Caribbean accented chatter noted on 27515kHz LSB 27,515 LSB 27.515 MHz LSB.

Receiver: W3HFU SDR receiver.

At 2307 UTC, hearing two OMs talking to each other in heavily accented English.  Caribbean activity.  The so-called Jamaican Connection frequency.  Original Knight Patrol Radio Club frequency from decades ago.  Glad to hear that its still getting used.  At 2308 UTC, a third station jumped on the frequency...followed by some minor QRM from Spanish speaking stations on adjacent frequency 27.510 MHz USB.

Noting some Caribbean activity on 27.500 MHz USB as well at this time.  Brazilian 11 meter SSB signals coming in (and out) on 27.505 MHz LSB too.
