QSL to [email protected] would be greatly appreciated!
SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

Listening via the SDR in Traverse City, Michigan, which is receiving an S7 to S9 signal but only fair to OK audio through lots of noise ...

0012 UTC: "Footsteps on the Beach (And the Moon)" by Eedee.
0015 UTC: "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath.
0018 UTC: "Mr. Blue Sky" by Electric Light Orchestra.
0022 UTC: Sounded like a waterfall image was sent, but I couldn't see it.
0023 UTC: "Cooking No More" by deangelo. Not sure this is actually the song, but that's what Shazam told me about this slow rock song.
0026 UTC: "Peyote" by Duster.
0030 UTC: Male-voiced host gave an ID that I missed, then said he's playing a cassette demo from Duster right now.
0031 UTC: Another Duster song; obviously Shazam's not recognizing these unreleased songs.
0032 UTC: Another Duster song.
0034 UTC: Another Duster song.
0036 UTC: Another Duster song.
0038 UTC: Another Duster song.
0041 UTC: Another Duster song.
0043 UTC: Another Duster song.
0044 UTC: Another Duster song. Because this was a demo, some of these tunes sound like song ideas, rather than full songs.
0046 UTC: Another Duster song.
0048 UTC: "Strange" by Duster.
0050 UTC: Host said he'll play another song or two, send some SSTV images, then move down the band onto another frequency.

Thanks for the music tonight! Thanks to myteaquinn for the station ID.
