Radio Station WWWW 6925 AM/USB 0151 UTC 13 SEP 2026
« on: September 13, 2026, 0152 UTC »
0151: OM: "testing, testing, tesssssst, tesssting" a number of times, some in AM, some USB
0154: "hello", "what is this weird clicking I hear?"
- note to Op: I didn't hear the clicking, probably due to noise level here
25232
0206: "are you talking back to me?" QSO w/someone I can barely hear, he's going to listen on a Kiwi SDR
0214: music, singing by OM, "No Surprises" - Radiohead
- much better signal now, [3-4]534[3-4]+
0217: quiet, for now
0219: back w/"White Orchid (10 Years)" - Remco Hendriks
- nice stable signal w/pretty good audio
0226: "Supersonic Rocket Ship" - The Kinks
0229: ID, a narrator talking leading into "chant" type mx/sx "Om" - Moody Blues
0240: ID, then quiet, then some kind of data transmission; not sure if it is from WWWW or ute
0243: sweep tones (USB only)
0244: sweep tones L&U SB; got a good beat to it, and it's easy to dance to. Is this music for robots?

Thanks for the show!

QSL to [email protected] would be greatly appreciated!
SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

0229 UTC: Male-voiced ID: "Radio Station WWWW," followed by a sound clip of a guy talking about sound waves.
0230 UTC: "Om" by The Moody Blues.
0236 UTC: WWWW ID again, then several male and female voices reciting Dylan Thomas' words about raging against the dying of the light.
0237 UTC: WWWW ID again and off.

Thanks for the broadcast tonight!

SDR recording catch

0205 OM whistling, talking, not super strong copy. "are you talking back to me?"
0209 Sounds like a QSO for sure, two stations of different strengths.
