grundig G5 with ssb

HI all, I was wondering what the group thought of the little Grundig G5 aviator with ssb.
I see that Radio Shack has them on clearance right now. It might be nice to stick in the jacket
pocket and go out in the hills to get away from the noise.

and has heard many beacons OK, MO, CO, to name just a few...
It is a nice radio

I think I just may go get one tomorrow night.  I have the evening off as the xyl is having dinner with a couple of girl friends so I can go running. The 2010 is too big to carry around when I walk the rail trails,
this would be a better size. Hopefully they have one left when I get there tomorrow night. They said they wouldn't hold one for me, nice people right!!

IIRC, the Grundig G5 is a relabled Eton E5, of which is my rig and I love it!

I've been all over the Radio Shack websites and local stores and do not see this radio on sale!
What am I missing??

I walked into the local one Tuesday night and they had them (one) on sale for 119.95 (clearance tag).
That one didn't work, it was locked up and wouldn't turn on or I probably would have bought it right there.
The closest store to me now that has any is about 18 miles away, real long distance huh!!
I'm just wondering how much I would really use it, since I have all the other gear but we can never have too many radio's can we..
