Dear FRS listeners,

First of all we'd like to thank each and everyone for sending in reports for our June 8th broadcast and the 4 hour repeat (as a kind of test) last Sunday June 15th.
We are very happy with the number of reports we received from all corners of Europe plus a good number from the USA.
Reports for our June 15th test will be answered very soon. For June 8th one we have to wait till the new QSL is ready & printed....this QSL is part of our current
series 'FRS-Holland through the Years'. As always all mail will be handled, that has always been the case.

May we pay your attention to the fact that colleague SW station Radio Geronimo will be conducting a 4 hour broadcast next Sunday June 22nd.
Start is at 18:00 UTC=19:00 BST=20:00 UTC. Frequency is 9302 kHz/31 metres.
Tune in...and have fun.

73s, have a good weekend!

Peter V. (on behalf of the FRS-team and Chris from Geronimo)

Thanks guys, was a great show! ;D  oly

2059 UTC Just starting to fade up over the noise level here on 9301.1 KHZ with an UNID rock tune.
2104 UTC Man announcer but too weak to copy. Followed by another UNID pop tune.
2126 UTC Man announcer with ID followed by a Journey/Styx sounding tune. Still too much noise and fading for decent copy.
2145 UTC Several clear "Geronimo Shortwave" ID's and email address repeated, into another UNID tune...(I'm not good with the general Europop tunes played on the European stations! I'm just an old Rock & Roller with his roots in the 50's through the early 80's, and maybe a little 90's grunge scene.....)
Signal really picking up since 2150 UTC....still can't ID any of the songs! Clear ID by man announcer 2159 UTC... geronimoshortwave@hotmail.com followed by a slow ballad man singer, then off abrupt at end of song 2202 UTC. A tone followed at 2203 UTC for about a minute.

Did not receive it here on the home unit due to all the heavy storms but did listen for a hour on the Twente SDR to a really good show. Signal was a S9 to a S15 at times and really good audio from 2100-2200. Lots of UK music with some late 80's US music. ID seem to be every 5 minutes or so with one at 2137 and asking listeners to join the British DX Club providing the most comprehensive listings of UK radio. Thanks for the show Geronimo, it was great! ;D
