America's Beacon of Freedom 6925 USB 0011 UTC 7Oct14
« on: October 07, 2014, 0014 UTC »
Time pips with OM repeating a phrase (which I can't make out) from time to time.
Phrase is 3 words of 4, 3, and 2 syllables.  First word "America"?

S7 in high storm QRN

I can see from my audio recording that this was on before this; more details later.
I see at least four reps between 2209 and 2223z, and poss one back at 2158z.

0015 back on
0017 again
0042 seems like a power boost
0054 ...keeps on tickin'

refmo's ID sounds good to me; thanks!

Thanks for the TX!

Same thing here at 0015 UTC. Time pips with short announcement by man...hmmm
Nothing since 0017 UTC
0020 UTC Back again! Still can't make out what the announcement is....
0023 UTC Again....sounds like one of the words is "Shortwave"?
0028 UTC Or maybe the first word is "America's" ?????
0030 UTC "America's future on shortwave"?
0033 UTC OFF?
0035 UTC Back again....I thought it was America's vision on shortwave, but too much static...the other posters are likely correct with America's beacon of freedom.
Peskies on LSB at 0045 UTC

0101 UTC beep beep beep beep...America's Beacon of Freedom...beep beep beep beep (If the details of my report are in accordance with your station logbook, I would be very happy to receive your America's Beacon of Freedom QSL!!! beep beep beep beep)

Now that was different! Time to hit the sack...
Hmmm...0112 UTC beeping again! beep beep beep beep

Sounds like the first word of the announcement is "America".  The pips come through quite well.

S8 to S9 here, but terrible noise crashes.
Repeating "America's beacon of Freedom"

They added more bass to the audio since about 0040z, sounding better.

Time Pips and "Americas Beacon of Freedom"  repeated from 0054 tune-in until 0057. Excellent S8 signal.

Back at 0101 with time pips and "Americas Beacon of Freedom" ID every 10 seconds, then off again at 0109z..

Back at 0112-0115z.

America's Beacon of Freedom, 6925U, 0102, 10.7.14.  Suddenly started beeping with "America's Beacon of Freedom" repeated every 20 seconds or so.

Off 0109, back 0112 - 0114.  Not heard since.

Fair.

Back at 0112 UTC "America's Beacon of Freedom every 10 seconds, time ping every second.
Professionally done - I really jumped when it started.
S9
In the background when he says "Beacon" there is the high-to low transition of a siren (or some type of annunciator)
Terminated at 0115

Really different - thanks for the transmission

Had the SDR recording set. I think he is clearly saying something different at 0040U, and it is "Americas Beacon of Freedom" for sure at 0050U. I heard it live around 0040 when I thought it was Americas Vision of Freedom then but I couldn't stay at the radio. The signal became weaker after 0050U and the voice can't really be heard from then on. I'll go through Audacity later if nobody else does it first.
