Heard fading in next to WDAS on 1480. Caught TOH ID "This is WJDY  Salisbuy, MD. We now raise our wattage to 5,000 watts for daytime broadcasting." I reckon they already did before they said that as I highly doubt I could hear them from 175 miles south with just a mere 47 watts.

I never heard a station announce a power up when they do it.
