"P" beacon 8497.500 Khz 0405 CW 12-3-14

"P" Beacon in here constantly with a fair signal. The "P" is sent continuously but has a bad raspy characteristic.
It may have power supply problems or something that sounds like its being modulated by 120Hz.
I was hearing this much earlier but at that time it was so weak that trying a narrow filter position would lose the
signal. Now that I hear it much stronger the signal is spread over a number of frequencies centered around the
8497.5oo Khz "center " frequency. I'm using a 600 Hz filter position and hearing it quite well.

Anyone else????
