Fessenden to broadcast again
« on: December 24, 2014, 2142 UTC »
Is there going to be a 482 kHz transmission again? Like last Christmas eve and New Years Eve.

UPDATE- Checked the ARRL- and Yes, Brian Justin, WA1ZMS, will put his 600 meter Experimental Station WG2XFQ on the air for his annual Christmas Eve transmission. WG2XFQ will transmit on 486 kHz from Forest, Virginia, to mark the 108th anniversary of Reginald Fessenden’s first audio transmission.

Hearing Christmas music being played right now at 0113z. Weak signal with static crashes but listenable.

Now using Shazam for song identification
