S beacon 8494.90 9 1254 UTC 9 Jan 2015
« on: January 09, 2015, 1255 UTC »
I finally hear S !

Not a bad signal at 1254z, very clear over the noise floor, and obvious on the waterfall, which is how I first spotted it.

Almost gone at 1340z recheck. So perhaps there is a narrow window when I can hear it.

Good Job on "S". Its nice to finally catch up with one once in awhile Chris!
I also have caught beacons by using the waterfall. It makes covering a slice of
frequencies much easier these days. I would definitely miss it now.
