The idea behind Hexie and Kelsie was to create
organized chaos kind of a musical thing...

Observation-
The last couple of mornings while driving to work at 6:50 - 7:00 am EST,
I have had STRONG singals at 530 Khz from beacon LYQ which I believe
is located in Morrisville NJ. My beacon listings are NOT up to date!
This is unusual for down here from my limited listening. It was strong enough
to clearly hear while driving under most noisy intersections and else wise.
Parked in front of my place of work it was still loud, in fact commanding the
frequency. I only longed for time to tune the TS870 into my random wire u
sing my NDB hunting antenna tuner and CW position. I'm sure I would've
been truly impressed with what I heard.

The evening before a quick listen with 65 ft wire directly thrust into the 870
receivers input (no tuning) produced a quick 8 long range (three countries)
stations all logged in AM mode. This was through the very noisy and the
uncommon front that pierced Florida bringing lots of noise and much needed
rain.

So your logging does not surprise me seeing as what I heard on the NDB
bands as of late!

I WILL try and listen this weekend with the hopes of those same awesome
conditions still present and will report any interesting events if I do.

Peace All!

Dave
