WSM 650 12/22 10:00 UTC  S7 on the skip!  TOH ID into syndicated news, local wx, then typical old school funny country song. 
The magic distance the last couple of nights has been about +-800 miles; also got WSB.
Made the catch with recent thrift-store bargain radio, unknown OM (JCPenney brand), being subjected to gratuitous modification.
