Amphetamine Radio 6925 USB 2152 UTC AUG 2, 2015
« on: August 02, 2015, 2153 UTC »
Time pips....not WWV either...no voice announcements at the top of the minute.
2156 UTC pips were getting a bit erratic
2157 UTC Erratic keying now
2203 UTC OFF?
2214 UTC ID by OM as "Amphetamine Radio sixty nine twenty five". Is this the same as earlier data broadcasting?
2217 UTC Program of some sorts now! OM chatting...
Everything works!
2226 UTC ID...then CW of sorts
2227 UTC Music from movie theme?
2230 UTC Crazy Frog song?
2232 UTC OM with ID
2242 UTC A folksy bluegrass tune :)
2257 UTC OM with live TC as 2357 Coordinated Universal Time, into "I Get Around"-Beach Boys :)
2303 UTC "Reach Out (I'll Be There)"-Four Tops ...take 2 8)
2212 UTC OM with ID and "signing off", into Star Spangled Banner and OFF at 2214 UTC
Now that turned out to be quite an interesting show! I was skeptical at the beginning :) Thanks AR!

Sounded like they were transmitting the audio while they were tuning around with a poorly adjusted receiver.
Various bits of morse code, data, voice, local interference, etc...

Tuned up from the OTR unid while trying in vain to solder a kit together (from a mechanical perspective, the parts fit; from an electronic perspective, it doesn't do anything). Heard a weird-sounding data station here. It seamlessly flowed from weird-sounding data to CW to other modes, including fast-forwarding or rewinding reel-to-reel tape audio. Awesome stuff. Ran to get my computer to record it & it was just leaving

Good signal.  The audio is clear, but perhaps the transmitter frequency is off a few tens of Hz?

Signal just barely audible here at 23:07. It does seem to be a bit off of 6925.
