Al, you should steer these fellas to the Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop sites. They're always blowing out those survival/space blankets for a couple of bucks. The aluminum and mylar layers are already bound together.

Basic multiplication tells us that 2 x 50 blankets is 100 bucks. (We no longer need the metal sheet for the bottom.) Sew them into a mummy style sleeping bag, and you're safe from the government and whoever else might want to monitor your dreams.

Of course if you're getting the blankets in those amounts, you'll want to buy directly from the manufacturer. At those discounts, you could afford to have your entire wardrobe made from the stuff. Not to mention covering the walls, floors and ceilings of your domicile for pennies on the square foot.
