This school oughta be ashamed for themselves.

I doubt its possible for any modern school administrator to FEEL ashamed about anything.  But what a bright kid.  He can go far.  There's a growing movement among American tech startups and angel investors to support bright young high school graduates BEFORE they go off to college and be ruined by the "educators".  This lad would probably qualify and maybe this treatment at his school will prompt him to consider that path.  I'm amazed because his "workbench" is almost as messy and cluttered as mine is!   :D

F**kin' Texas.  Profile much?

I'm willing to bet that if the kid had been a W.A.S.P., he wouldn't have wound up in handcuffs.

Jade Helm is over. The people of Texas need something else wacky to worry about.

Great article Chris!  I started wondering about it all after seeing an NBC newscast interview in Ahmed's home where the boy showed his workbench - a small table built in to the wall in the family den with no tools, no good lighting, and piled high with board games and magazines.  I wrote the book on messy and cluttered workbenches but that one just looked impossible to me.  I still feel bad for the kid though...
