WEAK Radio mid-afternoon show 6925U
« on: January 26, 2010, 2131 UTC »
Hearing this mostly via Gulch stream, not a peep here in Gopher Stomp until around 2100z.
Since 2030z, hearing Gwar, Ramones, Meat Puppets. Real voice from gal identifying songs. Her voice sounds familiar, think I've heard this via a web stream from a college or indie station.
2045z: WEAK Radio ID
2051z: Just drifted in on my own receiver, barely audible but corresponds with what I'm hearing via Gulch stream. WEAK's thumping bass audible through the mud even at S1, but highs not clear enough yet to ID songs or voice.
2056z: Police "Canary In A Coal Mine", that distinctive bass line recognizable
2100z: Hearing bass line for "Working in a Coal Mine", but can't tell if Devo or original version.
2101z: Gal announcer voice again, can't copy what she's saying
2112z: Propagation shifting, slightly weaker via Gulch stream, slightly stronger here in Gopher Stomp now.
2121z: Yaz, birth control for every Situation
2130z: WEAK Radio ID audible via my own receiver, first clear ID audible here.
2150z: Some classic '80s era Minneapolis R&B funk.
2220z: WEAK Radio ID's, OM voice w/ echo fx, w/ e-mail address, audible here on my own receiver.
