PEANUT STAGE 2 THE FINAL STAGE

PEANUT is on 14400.1Khz  Solar Power ONLY, no battery...
PEANUT was set up at the BC dashers site.
The BC dashers antenna was simply to resonate with 14400Khz...

This beacon is very tough to get to...there were times the snow was up to ones knee...
The wind was gusting at 20-30mph  and this made the planting on PEANUT the most challenging
PHFER beacon ever...

The view of the surrounding mountains was beautiful...

This beacon is far enough away that airplane scatter will be received...

With the new sun spot cycle occurring PEANUT should be a fun Phfer beacon.
