Jan 15 1515 utc 7039.4 khz  T beacon solid copy both on home receiver and the Mojavie Tuner.
Lately there has been some strange digital signal near T and when both are competing, it reminds me of the famous
4096 beacons that I have heard over the years.

Have a Happy Radio Friday...

Can this be a malfunctioning Russian beacon or is it a known pirate/ hobbyist beacon? Previous lists have always had the letter M tagged for 7039.400 coming out of Magadan, Russia. When I was in Fiji I heard M and K at the same time due to the receiver bandwidth being so so.

This source says that M was not sounding correct yesterday http://www.iarums-r1.org/iarums/latest.pdf

On my waterfall display this morning I could see the dashes that looked like a T but it was just too weak for audio and for carefully checking center frequency.

Right this moment I can actually hear what sounds like T but it is on 7039.350 KHz which seems far off frequency for the typical Russian beacon. Signal strength is 10 dB or so above the noise floor with periodic quick fading or interruptions in the signal. Also the time of day is wrong for receiving Russian beacons here.

I am hearing this here on the east coast at 1055z. Fair signal.
1107: It's even a little stronger now.

7039.360 KHz beacon T, maybe 10 dB peaks at best with fading

I heard the Russian M beacon this morning on 7039.400 so that answers my question of T and M being related

April 23, 2016  Boy that's pretty strong...I did hear it around 1100utc pretty solid copy but not real strong.
I better start trying to hear the 7998.4 beacon again, it has been a while.
