Radio Illuminati 6150 AM 2135 UTC 17 Jan 2016
« on: January 17, 2016, 2136 UTC »
Tuned in at 2134 and just heard the end of a Talking Heads song, now "Pulling Mussels from a Shell" by Squeeze.  S7-S8 in NY.  49 meters is propagating much better right now compared to 43 meters.

2140 UTC "Radio Radio"
2143 "Politics of Dancing"
2146 "Red Skies"
2150 "The Reflex"
2155 "Relax"
2200 Heard a weak voiceover, could only make out sixty one fifty kilohertz
2201 "Remember the Nights"
2204 "Rio"
2210 "Rip Her to Shreds" one of my favorite Blondie tunes from their first album!
2213 "Rock Lobster"
2218 "Safety Dance"
2223 Having local QRN issues at the moment. Signal was starting to get weaker.
2226 Switched to an online radio, now with "Save a Prayer"
2229 Song by the Cars
2232 Another voice over, heard pirate radio and Facebook
2238 "Senses Working Overtime" - Still listening to remote receiver.  Too much local QRN on my radio now.
2243 "Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll"
2246 "Sex"
2256 "She Bop"

Have a carrier here with bits of music popping out of the noise. That is about it. :-\

Maybe a carrier at 2224, that is all.  Good audio on a remote radio, however.
Well, it was good, faded at ID time, but it sounded like Radio Illuminati.

Heard a Duran Duran song a couple of min ago. Heavy fading. I think this is Radio Illuminati. Anyone have their e-mail address?

Thanks Andrew for the lead.  I went back to my recording, and the ID started with some spacey music, then what sounded like "Radio Illuminati".  Would like to hear another ID just to be 100% sure.

Maybe a different station.  Hearing since 2300, no ID heard yet. S5 peaks with long fades.
2309 - "So It Goes" by Nick Lowe
2328 - getting another peak with "Strangelove" by Depeche Mode
2333 - "Such A Shame" by Talk Talk, and getting another deep fade.
2339 - "Suddenly Last Summer" by The Motels
2344 - "The Sun Always Shines on TV" by Aha
2352 - "Switching to Glide" by The Kings
2356 - ID by OM.  Starting to get some QRM from a SWBC station.
