Hexie 4096.28 CW 1118 UTC 6 Apr 2016
« on: April 06, 2016, 1125 UTC »
Interesting, I have Hexie again this morning at 1118z. I heard it on the 4th at 1112z. I did not hear it yesterday, but I am not sure I tried at this time of the morning. There seems to be a short window when I can hear it.

I have something around 4096.04 as well, but it looks more like an always on weak carrier vs a dasher.

None of the other 4 MHz beacons. I did have A earlier on 2097.

Presumably Hexie on 4096.28 again this morning, for a few minutes around 1048z on 8 Apr 2016. Curious how I am only picking up this one beacon. Is it the strongest of the bunch?

From the pictures most of the antennas are way less than optimum and may have strange lobes pointing in odd directions or be more NVIS than omni. Some days Viking does better than most of the others for me.
