Picked this up on my RS DX-398 @ 0230 UTC on 6040 kHz AM, using the telescoping whip.  Heard "Brother Louie" by Stories and other songs as well as other songs.  Heard station ID as well as news of moving to another frequency soon. Signal was fading in and out, here in Amelia County, VA, USA.
Station went off the air with some song by, what sounded like, Meatloaf @ 0330 UTC

I heard some of this. I forgot to log any details though. They were listed on short-wave (dot) info as "Media Broadcast" and it said it transmits from Nauen, Germany. (Their database has been weird since the recent spring schedule change - Radio Australia and Voice of Korea both seem to be completely absent, for example.) I haven't heard this station before but look forward to hearing more.

KBC has cut their transmissions in Europe. There was/is uncertainty of them continuing to the U.S..

Thanks for that Skeezix. (True story - my sister had a cat named Skeezix in the 90s.)

That's great.

Back in the late 70's/early 80's, my Mom mentioned Skeezix (I don't remember in what context), but I liked that word and kept using it since.
