why do they even bother operating that station if the audio is so terribly bad ?
sounds like a 50Hz buzz taking over all the audio.
probably a degraded audio amplifier tube causing the issue.

The digiDX post from today reports that their transmitters are in a state of neglect. Maybe that's what's wrong.
