Coming in very well, S9 +20 with some fading. This is the Spanish transmission. Will the English broadcast at 0430 be as solid? We shall see.

EDIT
I stayed tuned into the 0430 program, and the signal has remained good, S9 +20 with some fading. This same broadcast is currently transmitting on 11735 (S9 with deeper fades) and 15180 (just barely audible). SIO 545.

0438 OM news reading about submarine test missile firings, with usual Cold War style editorial bombast.

May want to keep an ear to the ground during the upcoming 7th Party Congress.
Most times & frequencies posted are only an approximation.
Wishing the 1980's PopComm was still around.

Listening now (0440z) on 15180 (all frequencies are rough tonight but this one's the least rough) and it sounds like a repeat of last night's show, talking about a submarine missile launch. Which is funny because I got to hear a few minutes this morning (9435) and I noticed that the music portion started in a couple of minutes earlier than last night, so it was a different, presumably newer program. Maybe they'll report on the Party Congress six weeks after it's over.
