XLR8 6955 USB 2355 UTC July 12, 2016
« on: July 12, 2016, 2358 UTC »
2355 UTC Hearing music here but can't quite tune in the exact frequency
0000 UTC S3 signal here...USB for sure now...just above the noise floor (Tuned in nicely now!)
0005 UTC UNID reggae tune (XLR8 perhaps?)
0015 UTC "Lets Talk to Bobby"-Organs of Love (Some S4 peaks now)
0023 UTC OM with ID..."XLR8",into "Song With A Mission"-The Sounds
0026 UTC "When Ya Get Drafted"-Dead Kennedys
0028 UTC "Do It Clean"-Echo and the Bunnymen
0035 UTC "Short Skirt/Long Jacket"-Cake
0038 UTC OM with ID..."XLR8"
(Signal tonight has been mostly above the noise floor with some fades)
0048 UTC "Vietnam"-Minutemen
0051 UTC "That's When I Reach for My Revolver"-Mission of Burma
Taking requests tonight XLR8? How about "Morning Sun" by the Underground Youth? It's a good night for shoegazing! ;D
0055 UTC OM with ID..."XLR8-Accelerate", into "Morning Sun"-Underground Youth....Thanks XLR8! When I first heard this song, I thought the guitar work sounded like that eerie song that the YHWH op used to play as a theme song! 8)
0104 UTC OM with "Accelerate", into "Little Bones"-The Tragically Hip
0108 UTC "New Orleans Is Sinking"-The Tragically Hip
0115 UTC "The Magnificent Seven"-The Clash
0122 UTC OM with "XLR8"
0127 UTC "Shut Your Eyes"-Snow Patrol (I just had to log back in to post this one! The best song of the last 10 years in my somewhat less than humble opinion ;D)

Time to hit the sack...NRD on timer whilst I fall asleep...thanks for the entertainment and the request this evening XLR8! :)

Great sounding show. Caught the last song. Signal had to have been S9 or higher.
