Morse code on Martian surface decoded!
« on: July 13, 2016, 0954 UTC »
It reads, "Al Fansome, check your tire pressure." in proto-Sumerian. It also says, "Happy Birthday, Great Leader!" in modern Korean. It's nice of the Martians to send messages to prominent Earthlings in their native languages.

As North Korea broke off ties with the UN yesterday, it may be awhile before we get final confirmation from the scientists who made this momentous discovery.

If you decode it as binary it becomes a Rick Astley song.

Don't tell anyone, but Al is Rick Astley and Slim Whitman combined. A pompadoured changeling. That's why the Martians love and fear him.

Oh, darn.  I figured it was Nita Callahan's cell phone number!  Then again, I'm not sure if Kit knows CW... :)

The late Ronnie Hawkins once caught Robbie Robertson reading a book while waiting for tour bus to be loaded up, when Robertson was with The Hawks. Hawkins bellowed, "What in the Hell are you doing?" Robertson replied, "Reading a book." Hawkins shot back, "Readin' a book? Rock 'n Rollers don't read books! It's bad for the image. You'll never see Jerry Lee Lewis readin' a book! Get rid of that damned thing before somebody sees you!" Robertson got rid of the book.
