Getting a very weak copy of SOH Xi Wang Zhi Sheng from Taiwan on 9540. Definitely Chinese language and music, with YL and OM announcers. Improving slightly now at 21:00 with grey line propo.

Cool. Where are you located? Did you get positive station ID? It's been reported that the Chinese government will broadcast their own CNR stuff at very high power over SOH as one means to jam the signal.

Could you please check what happens at ToH?

SOH does not have time pips. CNR1 programming jamming does have time pips.

thanks guys for the info. I couldn't get a positive ID, i.e. a spoken ID. There was no break at the ToH and other than some musical links, it was non-stop discussion/talk.
I am located in Lincoln,UK. Receiving kit: yaesu 450D and h/brew OCFD at 25 feet.

Anytime I've had audio from a frequency listed as SOH, it's always been CNR or CRI jamming with their respective networks programming.

I also don't buy the fact that SOH is only 100 Watts.
