India’s Al Gore: US ‘Weapons’ Caused Global Warming

India’s environmental minister said Monday that an American weapons system, which is the subject of numerous conspiracy theories, is behind global warming.

“The US has developed a type of weapon called High Frequency Active Auroral Research Programme (HAARP). It strikes the upper atmosphere with a focussed and steerable electromagnetic beam,” Anil Madhav Dave, India’s Environmental Minister, told Business Standard Monday. “HAARP is an advanced model of a super powerful ionospheric heater which may cause the globe to warm and have global warming effect.”

According to Eastlund's patents, haarp-like devices are indeed bordering upon the magical, but I don't think they operate globally. Of course, the folks who have followed Eastlund's work might have gone on to bigger and better by now so who knows. It'll be fun and games till someone stumbles across pair production.... again.

As many of you know, Al Fansome and I operate HAARP these days. The only nefarious things we do is set it to cause pirate radio station id's and monologues to fade into the static and come back up when the music starts. We hate a lot of yapping on our airwaves. Just play music and pipe down. No one wants to hear about your Uncle Fred's tomato's.

And would it kill you to play some Guy Lombardo of Al Jolson? Give the people what they want.

Meanwhile on the China/India border.... according to news reports India has moved up 100 additional T72 tanks and will be bringing up 60k troops to offset China's increase in troops along the border.
