Yaesu FRG 7 - Custom made Feet
« on: August 25, 2016, 1010 UTC »
Maybe this is sparks some interest under the Yaesu FRG 7 owners out there.

I finally found the time to make some new feet for my FRG 7.
The original rubber feet didn'tīt provide me with desired tilt angel.
Therefore I figured to custom machine some myself.

Attached are some pictures and the print (metric) of the machined feet.
The material is a common 6061 Aluminum. The imprints on top are just clamp marks form the vise that was use.(I know they are not very pretty but I didn'tīt any better way to clamp them during milling).
I will post some pictures of the installed feet with in the next day or two.

If someone is interested in the par or dft CAD files please send me a PM, since they are to large to upload (2.5 MB)
