R. Rossii Returns!

5900 kHz  RUSSIA. R. Rossii - location unknown (perhaps Khabarovsk?). IDs and news in Russian at 1300, a fair signal. Back on SW again! Thanks to Hiroyuki Okamura (Japan) for the tip off!

Do we know the actual hours of broadcast?

HFCC A16 has them listed (BRC=RRS), but there are 105 entries.

They have an entry for 5900, but how many of the other 104 are live?

RUSSIA. 5900, R. Rossii via ?, *1000 UTC, Sept 4. Transmitter
suddenly on, quickly followed by audio; news and ID; audio
was not very good, as there was some type of hum/noise;
not sure if just my local problem or not, so more monitoring
needed.

I confess I was expecting much better reception here, as I
often have very decent reception of Radio Sakha (via Yakutsk),
which is a pleasure to listen to. My R. Rossii audio at

The HFCC lists a transmitter registration at Khabarovsk, but that's all we know at this stage. The HFCC has been listing that site for nearly two years now on what have been "wooden" freqs up until now. So we can't be absolutely sure that they are 100% correct.

TL;DR:
- On air due to typhoon hitting the east coast of Russia.
- 9895/7245/5900kHz & 810 kHz
0200-0700 - 7245kHz
0700-1000 - 9895kHz
1000-1500 - 5900kHz

810 has ~75 kW power.

GTRK Vladivostok is probably not aware of the shortwave relay so far. Also today they announced only reactivated mediumwave, at 4:30 in their newscast:

based upon hearing "radio companion Vladivostok"; ToH pips
and "Radio Rossii" ID; into the news. Much better reception
today and not as much noise, which I assume is produced
