And, from the picture, the recorders had knobs! No wonder they did such a good job.

Prices on tape recorders must have fallen fairly quickly; in the mid 60s I got a small reel-to-reel recorder for Christmas, and we weren't a wealthy family by a long shot.

Little Prince Albert poor-mouthing it again. You were born and raised in the luxury of a can, aka, a trailer, the true sign of wealth and high social status in the States. I should have never went next door and let you out after I checked to see if the refrigerator was running.
