Tuned in at 2315utc, hear weak poor signal, had to switch to my CB antenna which is farther away from the 2400/4160 3 phase primary which is laden with fresh wet heavy snow and making much static. Also using the noise blanker in my R8. (edit) at 2333 hear very weak siren.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com
