Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt dies in hospital in Spain, aged 68

Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt has died in hospital in Spain after suffering from a severe infection, his manager has said.

The 68-year-old has been recuperating in the Mediterranean country since June, when he suffered a heart attack.
