Led Zeppelin released their debut album 48 years ago today, January 12, 1969.  48 years before 1969 was 1921. Think of the profound, distinct influence 1921 pop music had in 1969.

Seeing that LZ just rehashed old blues tunes and claimed they wrote them, nothing changed except for amplification and sloppy playing Brits a beat and a half off, Chris.

Those folks have no sense of rhythm. Must be the high latitudes and flat warm beer.
