Interesting. Wasn't it having problems? Maybe they could not repair it?

It's has the "BROADCAST SITE STATUS IS UNCONFIRMED DUE TO NETWORK OUTAGE" for some time. I see Point Loma, CA also has that message. I hope it does not get closed down, it's a nice DX target.  And I can confirm it is actually on the air!  ;D

For you, too bad Annapolis isn't being pulled from service.

For St Louis, that means that Youngstown will be better here.

Yes, I would love to have some of the local pests decommissioned.

It is interesting how even with Annapolis being so close, Angleton TX still sneaks in a few messages from time to time. I suspect some sort of destructive multipath from Annapolis sets up, with the ground and sky wave, and it manages to null itself.

Now Fort Stevens OR is on the unconfirmed due to network outage list. Although I have a few decodes from it last night already as of 0530z.

I've received plenty of things from stations that show up on the unconfirmed list. I'm not sure exactly what the USCG defines that as, but I'm guessing perhaps some monitoring is broke or intermittent and they cannot guarantee the service is accurate, even though it still transmitting.  Or something like that.

Since we don't care about the contents of the message, other than a valid format, that status isn't too exciting. But, when a station has degraded power or off the air, that's very interesting as that may/will cause changes in which stations come in.
