0347 UTC - Strong S7 signal tonight into WNY. Playing country music.
Location: Western New York ( Niagara Frontier)
Radio :TS480 with RTL-SDR pan-adapter, HDSDR software, Omni-Rig Control, Zenith T/O R600,T600

I don't know if it's the warmer winter than normal we're having in my region causing more extended t-storm just to the south, but there's been a slightly higher s/n ratio that's made it tough to get more than just a wavering signal from this one this winter? Even with the "good" radios attached to proven antenna setups.

I need to get a new long wire up, the past month and a half has been one big wind storm. This one started at a tad over 100 feet. It's in the low 70s now due to pruning, crimping, and soldering. I could knock off another 6 feet, feed it with TV line, and make the leftovers a "Zepp" for the funny bands? We SWL's and Pirates are innate recycler's. The only people in the world who get mad at their kids for throwing away old popsicle sticks because they plan on using them for spacers on their homemade ladder line project.

"Damn it Billy, I don't buy those things just for you to eat!"

We all know it's true. Ham's have probably killed their kids for decades for such things.
