Radio Guinée, 9650 kHz, 14 OCT 2017, 2145 UTC
« on: October 14, 2017, 2157 UTC »
At the noise floor, but my first afternoon* copy in almost a month, with the signature sound of western African music. (My last actual log of this station was at 0630 UTC on 26 SEP - tip for anyone looking to get a GREAT copy of this station, sometimes the bands from Africa open up wide at that hour.) I was hoping this would improve as the sun heads west, but as of 2156 it's faded almost completely away.

* Mountain Daylight Time, or UTC-6.
Denver, CO.
SDRPlay RSPdx & RSP2pro, Airspy Discovery HF+, Icom IC-7100, Grundig Satellit 750, Realistic DX-300, Tecsun PL-600.
MLA-30 active loop, G5RV dipole.

I tuned in to them earlier this afternoon as well, when searching 31 meters, indeed a nice signal.
