Modern rockabilly tunage on 1630kHz!
« on: December 05, 2017, 1915 UTC »
Gave up on crappy propagation above 7MHz, and below 7MHz was all lightning crashes from the approaching storms cold front. So, tried the 'ol Sangean ATS-803A on the Windom at 04:55UTC and heard a modern rockabilly tune with YL vocalist on 1630kHz AM. Of course, a strong fade-out by the top of the hour. Neat, whatever that was, and even over the lightning crashes for a time.
Recently, a co-worker quizzed me on, "What would happen if you were to apply reverse polarity to the Energizer Bunny?". Having no idea, I asked, "What would happen?". The answer is he'd keep coming and coming and coming...
