Pirate Beacon on 7.998, 60 dashes per min, solid s8 signal, slight deep fade lasting only a couple of seconds. Some noise on band, but still solid copy.

Yep! first noticed your discovery, tuned down and
immediately found this one. She is solid here in central
Florida at UTC 1325. I'd estimate it about 20 db over
average noise level this Sunday morning and building even
better on peaks. I'm listening in CW mode at 100 Hz
and now it sounds like its next door right now UTC 1330)

Checked on this one last evening around 2235UTC and found the signal
accompanied by both very rapid fading and periods of good peaks.
The fading was so rapid as to catch perfectly one dash and lose the next
during band switch over from light to darkness.
