Greek MW pirates night 5/6 Feb '18

In my location, Greek stations are heard better than the Dutch ones.
Today you can hear on: 1666, 1680, 1700, 1710 kHz.
Additional on KIWI GR heard on  1690, 1730

I had info, that 1666kHz AM at night 5/6 Feb, work Serbian (no Greek)  pirate station Radio Romeo. ,
He runs 1200 watts, not badly heard in N. Poland .

Hello from Greece,the pirates from Serbia they tuning between 1670 and 1680 khz for example 1675 khz,but the greece pirates at 1670 or 1680 khz. Of course the same it  is happens at all  the others pirate frequencies.
The power of the Greece pirates sometimes is extremely high,20 kw  or higher,and most of the antennas  are very good and efficiency constructions.
The radiation angle is too high, 70-90 degree, because they wants to speaking between the Greece,and this is the reason why they dont use vertical antennas.

Hello Kris,thank you for your wishes,yes ,you are right,the 90% of the Greece pirates at the mw band they prefer the 1960s tranditional Greece music,excpecially up to 1600khz.
There are so many radio station (pirates) inside in Athens with non stop music 24h,but at frequencies bellow to 1100 khz,so the result is a very  strong signal everywhere in the city with low TX power,but no skywave for long distance communication.
Very soon i will make a jingle,your idea was nice! !
