Unidentified on 15640 KHZ
« on: April 02, 2018, 1441 UTC »
Heard a broadcast @ 14;14 UTC today on 15,640.   Various instrumental short songs interrupted every 60 seconds with a male announcer recording " You are listening to a test transmission" and periodic recorded requests to send reception reports to "[email protected]" .  When i attempted to send the report and got an alert:

“[email protected].” does not appear to be a valid email address. Verify the address and try again.

Anyone know who this transmitter is?

Thanks,
Don

Yes. This is the testing procedure of Woofferton transmitter site in the UK. Normally the e-mail address is working.
