Twas I!

Just testing my new 100W Tx.

Amazing how well a dipole does @ 20'!

Correct on the the tunes. Eatstatic, local band, Bass player and Drummer from a hippy trippy quartet 'Ozric Tentacles'. Don't think 90'sTechno/Trance made it over the pond?

How was the audio?

I wasn't monitoring but had neg peak lim in but may clip on high peaks?

I could only pick it up on the Pennsylvania Websdr albeit with very weak audio.

Thx for report btw, alas no QSL...!

You are S6 here, 6979.951 kHz. Indeed, no FMing with this transmitter. The audio sounds good.

At 2242 hearing the music beat and what sounded like a female vocal, lasted for about 20 seconds. Now just the beat.

Staying on till the hour end.

Many thanks for the reports BTW, was just doing some early trails to see how my new 100W TX would do .

Seems to do OK!

Bass coming thru' nicely (thanks to PWM) and quite a bit of top end due to absolutly no filtering of the audio! (wiil be chopped at 7KHz)

Bit more more work to do but the audio and RF seem fine.

Cheers Chaps!

Yup, steady thumping at about 22:40 UTC here on 6980. Noise was high and the signal was around S-3. I had an idea it was someone testing, but I thought it was a domestic deviant.

This far inland, at that time of day is pretty solid. I'd say you've got a winner here, Stretchy.

Stretchy,

You could always create an eQSL with a picture of the transmitter. Simple and effective advertising  ;D

Indeed!

Early days, not a finished product yet.

Have finished my last contract and intend to take time off to finish this new TX.

3 years of work will hopefully come to fruition!

Videos, pictures, oh and a new name.. 'OMLITE' !

Needs a few months, at least!!

Str.

p.s that will be 'BASS' btw! benefits of PWM (and Trance/Techno!)  ;)
