DXing Baseball July 24-25, 2018

The third go of it of the year, it looks like 10 different games are possible for reception.  However, this week of daily storms (glad I planted rice this year  ) might make for rough reception or rainouts. As always, received broadcasts are from stations at least 75 miles away from my home base in south central Connecticut.  Will be updated throughout the evening.  All are flagship unless noted.

2310z WOR 710 am New York City Excellent Reception. Padres at Mets .  "Hi there everybody, I'm Howie Rose.  The Padres took the opener of the three game set last night 3-2.  More news on the injury front as Cespedes has been placed on the DL due to his heels.  Here is the first pitch of the game by Wheeler, a called strike."

2313z WADO 1280 am New York City Excellent Reception. Yankees at Rays (in Spanish, Spanish Flagship). Rickie Ricardo (really his name) on play by play.  "Staton cero y uno."  (Staton strikes out, runners on 2nd and third. Didi grounds out, run scores.) Yankees uno, Rays cero."

2317z WFAN 660 am New York City Excellent Reception. Yankees at Rays. "...here's the 1-2 to Andujar, swing and a miss.  That's the end of the inning.  After a half, 1-0 Yankees." 

0038z WFED 1500 am Washington, DC Very Good reception.  Nationals at Brewers. " 3 and 2 the count. Line drive by Zimmerman, Redoune comes home here in the first.  Nationals lead 1-0."

0042z WCMC 1230 am Wildwood, NJ Good Reception Dodgers at Phillies "Dodgers are trying to add here to their 2-0 lead as we play here in the fifth."

0053z WRVA 1140 am Richmond, VA Good reception.  Nationals at Brewers. WRVA ID " Taylor sets, hits a ground ball, and it is thrown away. Brewers are 13th of 15 in the National League in fielding. Ball four to Kleboom, first and second one out. ID. 1-0 Nationals top of second" (Nationals affiliate)

0115z WVEI 1440 am Worcester, MA  Very Good Reception  Red Sox at Orioles.  In rain delay, discussion of possible trades.  Zach Britton to Yanks?  Taking calls from listeners. Tarp is coming off field.  (Red Sox Affiliate)

0125z CKGM 690 am Montreal (in English) Good reception. Twins at Blue Jays ""Pitch is inside, ball two.  Motter flies out to second and after seven and a half, 5-0 Twins."(Blue Jay affiliate station)

0128z WLW 700 am Cincinnati Fair reception. Cardinals at Reds. "....and that's the end of the inning.  But a huge 2 run home run by Suarez to tie the game.  As we head to the 8th, 2-2."

0140z WTAM 1100 am Cleveland  Good Reception Twins at Indians  "Indians have hit two solo home runs tonight. But the Pirates lead here in the 8th, 9-3." WHLI 1100 am Long Island remains on air way past sunset/authorization, playing havoc with WTAM - ugh!

No reception from Chicago or St. Louis, smaller New England affiliate stations did not come through - perhaps all weather related.
